Wholesale Terms

Purchase Order:

  • All new stores must have a valid credit card on file for the order to be acknowledged in our system. 
  • When submitting a PO, you have agreed to our terms as follows:

Opening Orders:

  • Domestic order minimum:  6 hats (any style or size) / 4 hat minimum re-order
  • International order minimum: 10 hats (any style or size) / 6 hat minimum re-order
  • Initial orders must be paid for upfront before items are shipped to Account.

Re-Orders: 

  • If re-order requests cannot be filled with immediate inventory, please allow 8-10 weeks for production.

Changes to Orders:

  • Any changes or cancellation to orders must be emailed to sales@kinlabel.com within 48 hours of order submission.

Payment Terms: 

  • New account and international store terms will be 100% proforma.
  • International stores require 30% deposit on order acknowledgement.
  • Accounts will be charged prior to shipping unless otherwise agreed upon by KIN THE LABEL.
  • If the merchandise is not paid in full within 2 weeks of the cancel date on that PO the merchandise will be absorbed into inventory at a 12% restocking fee.

Method of Payment: 

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal are all accepted forms of payment. Credit card payments incur a 2.9% processing fee. 
  • Business checks are accepted and should be made payable to KIN THE LABEL.
  • All checks must be cleared before items are shipped.  We will contact you with a PO confirmation followed by a digital invoice.
  • Payments must be made, unless otherwise agreed upon, prior to the designated ship date. 
  • Term payments that are overdue are subject to a 10% late fee for every 15 days past due.

Delivery & Shipping: 

  • Your preferred carrier and account number may be used. In the instance a shipping account is not provided, KIN THE LABEL reserves the right to use their discretion as to the carrier.
  • Shipping costs, including import duties and taxes, are to be covered by the retailer. 
  • Shipping costs will be billed prior to shipment and must be paid for before the shipment is released.

Nature of Handmade Hats & Accessories:

  • Our hats and accessories are all made by hand.
  • Due to the nature of our production methods and dyeing of straw and wool bodies, each product may vary slightly on color and dimension.

Damages/Defects:

  • Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Contact KIN the label hats at sales@kinlabel.com within 5 days of receipt of damaged or defective goods.
  • Returned merchandise will be replaced with new merchandise at no charge, photos must be provided.
  • Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 5 days after receipt.

Returns/Exchanges:

  • We only accept returns in the case of damaged or defective merchandise as noted above. 
  • If an exception is made an 18% restocking fee is applied.
  • Customer has 5 days to report damages or shortages. Images of defective goods are required.
  • An RMA number will be issued after approval. All return items must be clearly marked with the RMA number on the outside of the box to be considered a valid return.
  • Refused items are not considered returns.
  • International orders: Damaged or defective merchandise will be resolved by issuing a store credit unless otherwise agreed upon.

Consignment:

At this time, we are not able to offer consignment or drop shipping.
